Over 2,000 guests took part in Beis Lubavitch of Paris' annual gala dinner and fundraising auction. The dinner and auction benefit the many Chabad Houses and mosdos under the auspices of Beis Lubavitch.
Mayor Mr. François Dagnaud, the mayor of the 19th arrondissement in Paris, addressed the audience and spoke about the special merit his quarter has, being home to Beth Chaya Mushka, one of the largest Jewish schools in the city.
Mrs. Aliza Bin-Noun, Israeli Ambassador to France, was among the guests at the dinner.
Singer Yoni Shlomo provided the musical interlude, accompanied by Yosef Barami and orchestra.
Each participant received a special teshurah - a Megillah, translated into French and annotated with The Rebbe's biurim.
“Shluchim left the event with a special feeling, seeing how The Rebbe's brochos accompany us every day,” said Rabbi Mendel Azimov.
