Hundreds of travelers to Haditch, many of the Anash, are stranded in Kiev due to Aerosvit Airlines bankrupcy. For many hours they waited in Borispol Airport for alternate flights, and when they did not materialize, they were taken to Kiev and set up in hotels for the night. Rabbi Sholom Yehuda Rabinowitz was attacked by a non-Jew who spat on him and uttered imprecations: four girls who were in a room near a non-Jew were similarly attacked as well.
Many of the travelers bought their tickets through Lachish Tours, who made the following clarification: We sold over 250 tickets to Haditch, 172 on Israir, others on El Al, and 30 on Aerosvit. Out clients were provided with hotel rooms and food, and were taken on a bonus trip to kivrei tzadikim in Anipoli and Berdichev. We have purchased tickets for all our clients on a flight that will leave tonight.
