A very high profile "bris" took place yesterday at the Rebbe's Ohel, the baby boy of real estate magnates Zina Sapir and Rotem Rosen
Zina is the daughter of Trump Soho investor Tamir Sapir. Rotem is the “right hand man” of and real-estate magnate Lev Leviev.
Real estate and diamonds magnate Lev Leviev, the biggest contributor to Chabad in the world, personally arranged for the bris to take place at the grave site, which is considered a huge honor. Rosen, Lev Leviev’s right hand man, is very grateful as the grave is believed to be a holy site where millions of people come from all over the world to receive inspiration and blessing from the Rebbe.
The Sapir-Rosen offspring already owns more than half of New York City as Africa-Israel owns half of the Upper West Side landmark the Apthorp; the New York Times Building, the Clock Tower on Madison Avenue, much of the land around Brooklyn’s Gowanus Canal; and massive downtown holdings including Downtown by Philippe Starck. The Sapir Organization owns some of New York’s largest commercial buildings and developing such high profile buildings as Trump SoHo and the William Beaver House among many others.
"It is a great honor for me that the Bris of my child is being perfomed at such a holy site. I thank G-d for giving me the opportunity to observe this Mitzvah at this palce," Rosen told reporters who flocked to the Ohel yesterday.
Among those taking part in the Bris were Rabbi Shmuel Butman, head of Tzach in N.Y., Rabbi Elyakim Wolf, Director of the Central Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Israel, Rabbi Yehoshua Mtzger, shaliach in Manhattan, Rabbi Zalman Shmotkin, Chabad spokesman, Rabbi Aaron Chein, shaliach to the Gruziner community in Queens, Rabbi Benny Wolf, a member of the administration of Beir Rivkah, Rabbi Yehudah Eidelkopf, shaliach in Israel.
