In wake of Purim this week Shturem.net is posting a sicha in audio from Motzoei Shabbos Parshas Zachor 1979
In the sicha the Rebbe speaks of "Arur Haman" and Boruch Mordechai" adding up to the same numerical amount and what we can learn from this.
The Rebbe then says that one should erase Haman's name during the reading of the Megillah loudly, not silently. He speaks out against those who bang Haman quietly to the extent that they themselves don't hear the banging.
