Shliach Rabbi Yossi Halperin and his staff had their hands full- literally, during the two days of Purim at the Kosel Maarovi in Yerushalayim. Thousands of locals and tourists passed through the Chabad booth, put on Tefillin, and fulfilled the mitzvos of the day. The cheder students at Oholei Torah in Kfar Chabad enjoyed a festive Purim Fair yesterday (Wednesday). The fair featured games and contests based on the mitzvos of Purim. The children participated in a Kinus Torah, Tefilla and tzedaka, following The Rebbe's horo'oh. Menahel Rabbi BenTzion Vishedsky inspired the children with stories of mesiras nefesh for Torah in the USSR. Betzalel the Magician enthralled the children with his illusion show ■ more

With sadness we report the passing of Rabbi Elimelech Borenstein, a prominent member of Anash in Bnei Brak, at age 74. Rabbi Borenstein was known as an iluy, studied in Litvishe yeshivos in his youth, and became a Lubavitcher Chossid before his marriage ■ The levaye will leave his home on Damesek Eliezer Street in Bnei Brak at 1:30 PM, passing the Lubavitcher Shul in Neve Achiezer, continuing to the Shamgar Funeral Home in Yerushalayim ■ more

R' Elor, who has had unprecedented success with Tanya with a Nigun CDs, as thousands of children sing the holy words of Tanya by heart daily, decided to go a step further and put the Maamar to Nigunim ■ more

Loss: Rabbi Yaakov Edelstein, Rov of Ramat Hasharon, passed away a short while ago, after being hospitalized in grave condition in Bais Refuah Laniado in Netanya. The levaye will leave from Admur Harayatz Street in Kfar Chabad at 1:00 PM and pass the Mekozi Shul, continuing to the Shamgar Funeral Home in Yerushalayim where the levaye will be held at 3:30 PM ■ more

 Renovated State of Art Mikvah in Holon 

On Chof Bais Shvat, the yohrtzeit of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, a beautifully renovated state of the art mikvah was dedicated in Holon. Rabbi Alex ben Levi active in the local Georgian community, initiated the building of the mikvah. Present at the dedication were Chief Rabbi Eliyohu Yochonon Gurarie, Rabbonim, public servants and community members ■ more

The 223rd annual seudas hoda'ah by the Shpoler Zayde's descendants commemorated the miracle that saved their ancestor Rabbi Yehuda Leib's life. The Stambler and Gloiberman families hosted the seuda in Kfar Chabad, Rabbis Yosef Karasik, Rabbi Yaron Amit and Rabbi Meir (b'R' Zalman) Stambler spoke words of Torah and re-told the story of the Zayde's miraculous rescue from certain death ■ more
